Puerto Ventanas works constantly to improve the safety in its premises and promote a culture of self-care among its employees, actively keeping joint committees unions and the family of our workers involved in the process.
A relevant element in risk management is the permanent training and orientation in the field. At Puerto Ventanas, we run an annual training plan n risk management for our workers with the Instituto de Seguridad del Trabajo (IST) and other specialized organizations. In 2017 7,000 hours of training in safety were invested.
To keep our workers aware of the risks of work accidents, Puerto Ventanas develops several internal campaigns to reinforce our messages of self-care and safety. Our campaigns consider a plan of visits from our executives to the field to directly gather opinions and suggestions from ou workers.
