The objective of this center is to centralize and efficiently manage the operations of Puerto Ventanas (PVSA), to create relationships of dependence between the different activities, monitor online the main variables of the processes and, this way, collect enough information promptly for decision making. The Integrated Operations Center (IOC) is an innovation for port processes, as it integrates a high degree of improvement in information management regarding critical process variables, with the implementation of last generation software and equipment to visualize and control online the storage, transferal, loading and unloading processes for all the products handled by the port. The IOC also helps gather timely information on the mechanical situation of the equipment and measures efficiency indicators for the most critical variables of the entire process. The project also contributes to the flow of information, processing real-time data for the operation, with a modern control system turning us into a “Connected Company.” This has the advantage of making all the information available instantly, with easy access to the personnel in charge of operations, or whoever requires it. This also allows the availability of historical data backup to manage the actions of the terminal effectively.
